Dr. Schiller’s Signature Surgery

During his career as a cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Schiller has developed a unique lower eyelid and cheek lift that has been described as “spectacular” by colleagues. His lower blepharoplasty with midface lift is performed using a CO2 laser. A blepharoplasty is a procedure that repairs or reconstructs the eyelid and can be performed on either the upper or lower lid. During this procedure, Dr. Schiller lifts the sagging skin of the upper cheek into the hollows beneath the eyes. This rejuvenates and refreshes your appearance, and often requires little recovery time.

Cosmetic Procedures

Dr. Schiller also provides several other cosmetic procedures in his offices. He uses the most advanced laser and endoscopic techniques and uses both surgical and nonsurgical methods to minimize scarring and recovery time. Some of the other procedures he performs include Botox, endoscopic forehead and brow lift, cheek surgery, small-incision facelift, Asian blepharoplasty, and fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing.

Reconstructive Surgery

In addition to cosmetic procedures, Dr. Schiller also performs reconstructive surgeries, including:

  • Ectropion and entropion repair to correct an eyelid that is turned away from or in toward the eye.
  • Ptosis repair to open upper eyelids that are not fully open.
  • Removal of skin cancer of the eyelid, most commonly basal cell carcinoma.
  • Lacrimal surgery to treat blocked tear ducts.

In cases of thyroid eye disease, or Graves’ disease, he performs corrective eyelid surgery when a patient’s eyelids open too widely, orbital decompression to improve a patient’s vision, comfort and appearance, and surgical correction for double vision.
